Realtor®

Deanna Cardenas began her career in 2008 as part of an Oklahoma City commercial property management group. Her desire to foster more profound and meaningful relationships with her clients led to her becoming a licensed Oklahoma Realtor. As Oklahoma flourishes and diversity increases, Cardenas enjoys serving the Hispanic population because sharing a cultural and linguistic background creates trust, which is necessary for a great partnership in the home buying and selling process. Her clients consider her a Subject Matter Expert on Oklahoma City's homes, communities, and our city as a whole.

In addition to her professional experiences, years of investing in the community enhanced Cardenas' skills in fundraising, event planning, business development, and more. Cardenas is active in local business and government affairs and is passionate about her work with non-profit organizations. Cardenas serves on the governing board of the Oklahoma Arts Council, appointed by Governor Stitt for a 3-year term. She also serves on the board directors for Girls Scouts- Western Oklahoma, Other Options Food Pantry, Scissortail Community Development Corporation, Kingdom Media, and Annie Oakley Society Leadership team.
She served as a cabinet member for the Generations of Mercy Capital Campaign for the Mercy Health Foundation. The two-year campaign recently reached its $40 million fundraising goal for the Love's Family Women's Center. She is passionate about giving back to the community and served as a volunteer for The Greater Oklahoma City total resource campaign for 18 years and the Green Tie Gala Committee, one of Catholic Charities' most significant fundraising events. Additionally, she serves on the Governor's newly established Hispanic Initiatives Council. These initiatives will create more opportunities for positive impact within the Hispanic community.

Her experience in the fashion industry and cultural arts gave Cardenas insight into unique aspects of the arts and how she would help further the agency's role in ensuring arts education and arts access for all Oklahomans. She views the arts as an essential asset in strengthening Oklahoma City's appeal as a vibrant and diverse place for families and businesses.

Currently, Cardenas serves as a leading bilingual real estate agent with Stetson Bentley in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, where she builds impactful and long-lasting relationships with her clients. She invests her energy in serving her community and enjoys spending time with her husband, Joe Cardenas, daughter Kacie and her son Joseph.
